5L Custom Harvesting just finished up soybean harvest at Harrold, South Dakota. “Our average was 65 bushels (per acre), which is really good for the area,” reports owner Josh Lennox. “We’ve actually been begging for some rain just to get a break from the harvest, but we’re pretty happy.” Lennox says they’re waiting for the corn to finish drying down. “The test corn we cut averaged around 175 bushels here in Harrold, which is great, but we’re still waiting for it to dry down before getting rolling; the moisture was still too high.”
