Farm Aid will go on as scheduled in Minneapolis this Saturday. A labor dispute between the local Teamsters union and the University of Minnesota threatened to the staging of this annual event. Over the weekend, Farm Aid organizers said the two sides reached an agreement and confirmed the concert will go on as planned. This is the 40th anniversary of Farm Aid and the first time it is being held in Minnesota. The Red River Farm Network will report from Farm Aid this weekend. The Minnesota Farmers Union is sponsoring that coverage.
