The Wall Street Journal is reporting Corteva Agriscience may split its seed and crop protection businesses into two separate companies. If this happens, it would be the latest in a series of corporate breakups. Kraft Heinz was cited as an example. The Wall Street Journal stated this split ‘could usher in a dealmaking wave in agriculture not seen since the first Trump Administration.’
