Thunder Seed sales representative Derek Haug says the corn in the southern half of North Dakota still needs some GDUs to make it to harvest. “I think we’re going to need all of September to get there.” As long as the weather holds, Haug expects respectable corn yields. “Yields look good. Corn looks really good in a lot of places. I’m sure there are areas, but a lot of the areas that I cover, the roads that I travel, the corn looks really good.”
