No Action in US-China Talks

Trade negotiations between the U.S. and China have stalled over China’s role in the fentanyl trade and its unwillingness to increase its purchases of U.S. farm commodities. Dow Jones Newswire reports China has adopted a new strategy:cchina keep talking, but make few concessions. Chinese President Xi reportedly wants to avoid a one-sided deal like the Phase One trade agreement negotiated during the first Trump administration in 2020.
