A big, beautiful bean field near Fertile, Minnesota, has been capturing attention this season. “It is a tall standing soybean so it has really good coverage and doesn’t let weeds get in,” explained Jake Edgar, who is with North Star Ag Services. The P08A44E variety was planted on May 10th and is approaching the R6 stage of development. Edgar, who is also a crop consultant, highlighted the corn. “GDUs are a little above normal; it rained perfectly here for a while, but we’ve been in a dry spell recently.” Watch the interview on YouTube.
