Wheat harvest is wrapping up in the Garrison, North Dakota area and the canola harvest is just beginning. The corn highlighted by Jason Foss at North Shore Seeds was 82288PCE. The crop is denting with 1,644 GDUs at the present time. The RRFN Crop Tour presented by Pioneer made a stop in front of a field of Pioneer P520L canola. “It’s the first of the new pod-shatter technology; it’s very exciting,” said Foss. “It yields amazing, stands good and when the combines get in, it will tell the truth.” Foss also anticipates excellent soybean and sunflower crops.
