Speaking at Northland Potato Growers Association Field Day in Larimore, NDSU Extension Potato Agronomist Andy Robinson said optimism is high for this year’s crop. “I think there’s a lot of hope for a good crop this year. Some areas have received a lot of rain, and other areas haven’t.” Conditions have been favorable for disease; however, “the growers are being very diligent about their applications of crop protectants, so I think things are doing quite well.”
