Disease pressure was commonplace for those walking fields in Iowa during the Pro Farmer Tour. “Pod counts were extremely high,” said crop scout McKenzie Halligan. “We’ll have to wait and see if they can finish where they’re at right now, because some beans were dying off and kinda looking like they were going to start shutting down.” Halligan said Iowa farmers will need additional rain for the soybeans to finish out.
