Nearly a Dozen Ag Commissioners Highlight Opposition to Net Zero Climate Policies

North Dakota Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring and ten other agriculture commissioners have sent a joint letter to the Trump Administration and Republican lawmakers calling for the elimination of federal funding for net zero-climate policies. The letter cites three separate United Nations organizations, saying their policies conflict with the interests of the United States. The UN Food and Agriculture Organization’s recommendation for reduced beef consumption for environmental reasons was given as an example.
