HFCS and the Impact on Corn Prices

Faced with an attack on certain food ingredients by Robert F. Kennedy’s Make America Healthy Again initiative, the Corn Refiners Association commissioned a study on the economic importance of the corn refining industry. The report says efforts to disparage High Fructose Corn Syrup ignore science and the importance of the rural economy. It says its total elimination would cut corn prices by 34 cents per bushel and reducing farm revenue by more than $5 billion.
