Johnson is Running for Governor

South Dakota Congressman Dusty Johnson has announced his bid for governor. Johnson has been in Congress since 2019 and worked in state government before that. Next year’s Republican primary may be a battle with State Speaker of the House Jon Hansen and Aberdeen businessman Toby Doeden already announcing their candidacy. It’s also possible that incumbent Governor Larry Rhoden may seek reelection.
