South Dakota FFA Vice President Raul Berrones Pedraza wrapped up his year as a state officer at the state convention in Brookings. “This last year has been amazing because I got to meet people from all over the state, even all over the United States; my favorite part was chapter visits.” Berrones Pedraza believes that FFA has helped shape him into the person he is today. “I don’t know if I’d be where I’m at right now if it wasn’t for FFA. If I’m being honest, in my freshman year, I would be terrified of interviews, but thanks to FFA, thanks to parliamentary procedure, thanks to chapter conducts and meetings, district office, state office, I’ve been able to grow as a person and as a leader.” Berrones Pedraza is from Milbank.
