The excitement of state FFA conventions culminates in the announcement of the new state officers for the year. The 2025-26 South Dakota State Officers are: Reporter, Ireland McAreavey of Tri-Valley; Secretary, Kate Meyer of Sisseton; Treasurer, Elena Andrews of Beresford; Sentinel, Skylar Plucker of Lennox Sundstrom; Vice President, Josie Nold of Brookings; President, Tyler Strasser of Lennox Sundstrom. The newly appointed officers will next embark on a year dedicated to leadership, advocacy, and service within the agricultural community.
