National Pork Board CEO Bill Even plans to leave the job and return to the family’s farming operation in South Dakota. Even’s last day with the NPB will be May 1. Even took over as CEO in 2016. He served as South Dakota’s agriculture secretary from 2007 to 2010 and spent nearly six years in leadership roles at Pioneer. NPB Senior Vice President of Operations will serve as the interim chief executive officer while a national search is conducted.
