Summit Carbon Solutions has resubmitted its pipeline permit application to the South Dakota Public Utilities Commission. The PUC rejected the initial application more than a year ago. North Dakota and Iowa have already approved their permits and a decision is pending in Minnesota. The Summit pipeline would capture carbon dioxide from Midwest ethanol plants and deliver it to western North Dakota for sequestration.
