A coalition of 170 environmental groups sent a joint letter to congressional and agriculture committee leadership, asking lawmakers to reject any attempt to reduce spending on climate-smart agriculture programs. The groups, including the Sierra Club and Friends of the Earth, also oppose language to overturn California’s Prop 12.
