NDSU Extension Rangeland Management Specialist Kevin Sedivec says it has been a great year. “We have had really good moisture across much of the Northern Plains until you get farther west in North Dakota. I would rate pasture conditions from good to excellent. They are going to be more productive than normal years.” Getting large amounts of hay is common for the region but harvesting quality hay is not as common.
