University of Minnesota Extension Regional Crops Educator Angie Peltier has seen a variety of issues for crops due to the wet conditions this spring. “We’ve really seen some drowned out areas due to some rainy weather and standing water recently in soybeans, corn, sugarbeets, and some dry beans.” Peltier has started to see sulfur deficiencies among others but expects to see the crops come out of those deficiencies as the fields dry out.
