Corn Planters Will Continue to Roll

With final plant dates for corn on top of us, NAU Country Vice President of Farm Services Rich Morrison expects farmers to continue planting corn a few days past the final plant dates. A switch to soybeans or another crop is also unlikely. “I don’t think so, we just got so much fieldwork done last fall in many states with a lot of people putting nitrogen on in the fall and those guys are going to plant corn at this point.”
