NDSU Extension Rangeland Management Specialist Kevin Sedivec says that low snow throughout the state could have farmers struggling with water issues later this year. “We’re going to have very little melt and runoff into our dugouts and wetlands. So if we don’t get adequate rainfall this summer, I could see many producers and ranchers, in particular, dealing with water issues.”
