Arthur, North Dakota farmer Kevin Skunes has spots in his fields that were drowned out by recent rains, but there are no complaints of excess moisture. “We’ve had pretty good emergence, even with the pop-up thunderstorms that came through.” Skunes had some sections with two-to-three inches of standing water. “It’s better to have a little too much water versus not enough.”
