President Biden has announced his intentions to nominate Summer Mersinger for a full term on the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. Mersinger was first appointed to the CFTC board in March of 2022. Mersinger is a South Dakota native and spent time on the staff of South Dakota Senator John Thune.
