The East Coast grain milling firm, Ardent Mills, is apparently buying wheat from Europe. It also costs less to ship European wheat to Tampa, Florida than domestic transportation prices. AgriCensus reports only one other wheat shipment from the European Union to the U.S. in the past ten years.
