After a 45-day review, the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States determined the proposed Fufeng project is not covered by its jurisdiction and will not be taking any further action. Cramer is opposed to the investment by the Chinese Communist Party in U.S. agriculture. Fufeng plans to move forward with its corn wet milling plant north of Grand Forks.
