U.S. Wheat Associates Vice Chairman Michael Peters is happy with the international demand for U.S. wheat. “Mexico, Philippines, Japan and Latin America really increased their imports of U.S. wheat. We have a pretty big footprint as far as our reach of wheat exports to other countries.” Peters expects the market to remain somewhat unstable. “The Russia-Ukraine conflict, the drought across the U.S. and other world issues will ensure the market volatility sticks around.”
