POET has a goal of being carbon neutral by 2050. “We’re 50 percent better on greenhouse gases than gasoline,” said Doug Berven, corporate affairs vice president. “By 2030, we’ll be 70 percent better and by 2050, we’ll be carbon neutral. We will meet those goals.”
