With the Senate back in Washington today, familiar issues will be on the table. A scaled-back version of the Build Back Better plan is expected to get attention. The current package has $90 billion in agriculture, forestry and nutrition provisions. Lawmakers will also need to finish the 2022 spending bill since the current stopgap provision expires in mid-February.
