With the price of phosphorus mineral increasing, researchers are finding alternate ways to supplement. Many of the phosphorus sources that go into our fertilizer products, which have also taken a jump in price, are the same ones used in beef cattle mineral. Commercial range cubes, dried distillers’ grains, cottonseed meal and corn gluten all provide ranging amounts of phosphorus from .75 percent to 1 percent.
