World fundamentals, including what’s happening with Canada’s drought and rail problems, will influence the wheat markets in the next six months. Summit Commodities market analyst Tim Marsh was watching the results of Friday’s Statistics Canada report. “They’ll have updated crop estimates for canola and spring wheat. Those influence us and the rest of the world. Wheat crops across the world are under stress.” Worldwide, wheat supplies are getting smaller. “Until we start to reverse production numbers on wheat and the crop starts to get bigger, the market should stay well supported.”
