North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum issued an executive order waiving the hours of service, weight, width, height restrictions and fees for commercial truckers hauling hay, water and livestock in North Dakota. While the dry conditions are improving slightly, nearly all of North Dakota remains in drought. To help the state’s livestock producers, Burgum says it is critical haulers are able to deliver livestock and supplemental water and feed in a timely fashion to help ranchers sustain their herds. The executive order remains in effect for 30 days.
