There won’t be any wheat numbers in the September USDA Supply and Demand report. Northern Crops Marketing and Investments President Brad Paulson says traders will have to wait until the end of September for those numbers. “Spring wheat production will be released in the quarterly stocks report on September 30. Some private estimates show high abandonment and low yields in North Dakota.” While there hasn’t been any U.S. wheat sold, there is global wheat business. “We’ve seen Egypt show up and buy wheat this week. The world price of wheat is staying firm.”
