After a down day yesterday, grain markets are higher in the overnight trade. Advance Trading Risk Management Advisor Tommy Grisafi says there are numerous factors at play today. “It’s the end of the month, end of the quarter and there’s the USDA numbers; any of those could move us,” said Grisafi. “You’ll see big spread action today with any surprises. We’re at a high level. We’re not at $3.50 corn, we’re at $5.50 corn so it’s not crazy to think we could go down hard or up hard.” Outside markets and hedge fund liquidation could also influence today’s market.
