President Joe Biden made regulatory changes with a series of executive orders during his first few days in office. As expected, COVID recovery is a top focus. National Farmers Union President Rob Larew thinks the additional attention for addressing COVID will be a positive. An executive order on climate change was also issued. As more details unfold, Larew says agriculture needs to have a seat at the table. “If it’s ultimately programmed to practices not adopted by farmers or unworkable, they’ll be unsuccessful. We’ll be working to make sure the farm voice is included.”
