During the final days of the Trump administration, the EPA granted three additional small refinery exemptions. National Farmers Union Senior Advisor Anne Steckel says NFU is looking forward to a fresh start. “There’s a different administration now with a different perspective on the future of renewable fuels and understands the importance to rural America and farmers.” Steckel says the NFU is looking forward to working with the new administration and there’s already been talks with EPA Administrator Nominee Michael Regan. “We are optimistic Regan is going to be administering the RFS in a favorable way.”
