The USDA is launching a Quality Loss Adjustment Program. Administered through the Farm Service Agency, this program would provide payments to farmers who had a five percent quality loss due to excessive moisture or drought related conditions in 2018 and 2019. The FSA will need proof of quality losses for farmers to qualify. The FSA will start accepting QLA applications on Tuesday, January 6. The application period closes on March 5. Read more.
