The soybean harvest is beginning in Nebraska. Channel Technical Agronomist Tammy Ott says the preliminary yield reports are good. “We had a stretch of time in August when things were dry and it knocked off the top end yield potential of the soybeans. Dryland soybean yields were basically in the 50 bushel per acre range and the heavily irrigated areas have been in the 80-to-90 bushel per acre range.
