A hearing was held in the U.S. Senate on state management of grizzly bears. The Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works heard from ranchers about the flourishing bear populations. According to the Public Lands Council, the species no longer needs protection under the Endangered Species Act, saying “grizzly bear recovery is a conservation win.” Read the press release.
