National Pork Producers Council Vice President of Industry Relations Dallas Hockman says hogs are backing and time is running out for the industry. “Pork producers are in dire staits; we need assistance, we need help. Producers today are having to make tough decisions on their farm, changing the diets to slow the pigs down because of the limited packing capacity and decisions are having to be made about the euthanasia of animals on the farm.”
