According to NDSU Extension, North Dakota pastureland values are down nearly three percent and the average pasture rental rates are down about 5.1 percent. The largest drops in rental rates are in the northwestern and south central part of North Dakota at 8.2 percent and 8.7 percent, respectively. “Pretty much that’s the story across the board. There are some areas that didn’t decline much on the rental side at all,” said Bryon Parman, ag finance specialist, NDSU Extension. Read more about rental rates and pastureland values.
