Syngenta and Golden Harvest has last season’s research data available for their products. Syngenta Seeds Agronomy Lead Andy Heggenstaller says that data will help farmers make better input decisions in 2020. He also says there is a silver lining to a tough year. “We get to experience conditions that aren’t normal and we learn from that,” says Heggenstaller. “If I could share one piece of agronomic advice, I’d tell farmers to not use 2019 too heavily in making hybrid or input decisions. This year is likely not going to be like last year.”
