Winnipeg-based G3 says it will build two new grain elevators in Alberta and Saskatchewan. The new Vermillion, Alberta facility will have the capacity of 34,000 metric tons and will be located on the Canadian National rail. The Swift Current, Saskatchewan facility will have a capacity of 42,000 tonnes and is located on the Canadian Pacific rail line. Construction is expected to begin in early 2020, pending regulatory approval. The projects are expected to be completed in 2021.
