The Farm Service Agency will release their prevent plant and failed/planted acreage numbers today. Roy E Abbott Futures president Roy Abbott says buckle in for a wild, volatile, market ride. “I think the market is concerned about the dry weather we’ve been experiencing for the last month in the central part of the country,” he says. “Eastern Iowa, Illinois, Indiana and Ohio have been very dry for one month. Not hot, but it’s been dry. We’re watching to see what happens to the crop.”
