The legacy Bayer and legacy Monsanto brands are now one company. With this unification, two different corporate cultures are also becoming one. Lisa Safarian leads commercial operations for Bayer’s North American crop science business. “Things are coming together very well; I’ve been able to select my leadership team and they are a great group of leaders that we’ve been able to pull from both organizations. We’ve been moving very quickly to get everybody put into place.” Prior to joining Bayer in August of last year, Safarian led Monsanto’s North American business. Safarian told RRFN that nothing has changed for the farmer. “Everything is exactly the same as it was before the acquisition and we’re making sure that we don’t impact our customers negatively in any way.” Safarian spoke at the Bayer AgVocacy Forum in Orlando, Florida.
