The Cattle Industry Convention and NCBA Trade Show kicks off today in New Orleans. Almost 10,000 pairs of cowboy boots will leave their mark as cattle producers gather to network, learn from professionals and engage in industry discussions. “Despite which way the cattle market is going, the atmosphere is always positive and upbeat,” says North Dakota Stockmen’s Association President Dan Rorvig. From a seven-acre trade show to policy discussions, the McVille, North Dakota rancher goes on to says there are many items on the agenda at convention. “I sit on a tax and credit committee, where we discuss policy impacting those areas. And of course cell-cultured meat will also be discussed more at the national level.”
