The Environmental Protection Agency increased its numbers in the final renewable volume obligations for 2019. There are 418 million gallons of cellulosic biofuel available for the fuel supply, an increase of 100 million gallons from the proposed requirements. Advanced biofuels are at 4.92 billion gallons, an increase from the proposed 4.88 billion gallons. Biomass-based diesel numbers stayed the same as the proposed volumes earlier this year at 2.43 billion gallons for 2020. Altogether, renewable fuels increased to 19.92 billion gallons. That’s slightly higher than proposed volumes of 19.88 billion gallons.
