There are about 66 new policy changes up for debate as the Minnesota Farmers Union meets in the Twin Cities for their annual convention. MFU Vice-President Bryan Klabunde says there will be discussion on the farm bill, trade and ethanol. The state of the farm economy is also of interest to delegates. “Even with a good crop and hard work, farmers can go broke in these tough times. It’s important farmers don’t have to sit up at night and worry. We’re going to do the best we can to advocate for agriculture.”
