The CHS Foundation is providing a $1.5 million grant to support the South Dakota State University precision agriculture program and the construction of the Raven Precision Agriculture Center. SDSU is the first land-grant university to offer a bachelor’s degree and minor in precision agriculture. The new Raven Precision Ag Center will allow South Dakota to lead the nation in precision agriculture research and innovation. Final construction plans for the building are in progress with some of the ground work to begin this fall and construction starting spring 2019.
