Farmers near Minot, North Dakota are getting a good start on the wheat harvest. Dakota Agronomy Partners location manager Steve Erdman expects a decent crop. “I talked to one farmer and he said it was a little better than expected. Of course, in some of the fields, there were some thin spots or crop that came a little later. We’re dealing with some weed issues. A lot of farmers are doing the pre harvest to help with dry down on some of the wheat.” Erdman says the lack of rain will have an impact on the crop. Harvest Hotline is sponsored, in part, by the North Dakota Mill.
