North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum was part of the FFA/Microsoft announcement in Fargo. Burgum said this event reflects the technology seen in agriculture today. “With this partnership between Microsoft and FFA, FFA makes itself even more relevant for the 21st century.” North Dakota FFA President Brianna Maddock was part of the Thursday announcement and can been seen as a high-tech, scientific success story for the organization. “I competed in the FFA AgriScience Fair. Through that, I’ve been able to be exposed to many forms of technology in the lab or the shop. My Supervised Agricultural Experience is also about agricultural research so I’ve had that tech experience and I’m excited that more FFA students are going to be exposed to that as well.”
